(Los Angeles, CA)  --  A new study finds one in ten Los Angeles County residents is an immigrant living in the country illegally.  The report released from the USC Center for the Study of Immigrant Integration Tuesday says one in five children in the county has at least one parent who doesn't have proper documentation.

The study predicts roughly seven percent of California's population, or over two-point-six-million people, is made up of illegal immigrants.  Study officials say the earnings of undocumented immigrants in California is likely to rise if they are given legal status under an immigration reform bill being debated in Washington.
