Police Identify Victim in Roanoke Apartment Fire; Death Ruled a Homicide

Roanoke Police have ruled the death of Lawrence Crowe a homicide.  Roanoke Police, Fire and EMS were called to a report of a fire at an apartment building around 1:45PM on Monday, April 3, 2017.  

Crowe, 59, of Roanoke was found dead inside the apartment building located at 2020 Brandon Avenue near Grandin.  He died of blunt force trauma.  Police say evidence, including the positioning of the victim, raised suspicion about the cause of death.
