Roanoke Man Arrested for Indecent Exposure Incident in Blacksburg

The Blacksburg Police Department received a complaint on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, in reference to an indecent exposure incident in the 1500 block of South Main Street.  Blacksburg Police apprehended John Darrell Willard, 48, of Roanoke.  As a precaution, the Blacksburg Police requested that surrounding schools and daycare facilities move their students inside until the Mr. Willard was taken into custody.  

Mr. Willard was charged with Indecent Exposure (C.O.V. §18.2-387), Actual or Simulated Act of Masturbation (C.O.V. §18.2-387.1), Obstruction of Justice (C.O.V. §18.2-460). All charges are Class 1 misdemeanors. If convicted each charge carries: Up to 12 months in jail and or up to a fine of $2500.

Mr. Willard is currently being held at the Montgomery County Jail without a bond.
