Cave Spring Middle School student brings knife to school

March 7, 2018 - Cave Spring Middle Administration sent an alert to parents Tuesday night about a student that had brought a knife to school on Monday, March 5, 2018.

The alert sent by Cave Spring Middle Principal Fiona Hill said that on the evening of Monday, March 5 it was reported to administration that a student had a knife at the South County library.

After completing their investigation on Tuesday, March 6, they said it was confirmed that the student had taken the knife to the public library after having it in their backpack during the school day.

Hill said that any action that poses a potential threat comes with very serious school and legal consequences and bringing inappropriate items to school is unacceptable.
