Virginia State Police have identified the driver as Goldie Jones, 20, of Amherst.
Jones was taken to Lynchburg General Hospital.
APPOMATTOX Co., Va. (WSET) -- A 20-year-old woman has been taken to the hospital after state police said her vehicle collided with a train in Appomattox County.
Police said the woman was trying to turn around on the tracks when the train slammed into her vehicle just off Route 460 in Spout Spring.

This happened just after 5 a.m. on Thursday, March 8. State Police said they are investigating.
