BREAKING: Man charged in connection with Appomattox Co. woman's death

April 11, 2018 - The Campbell County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 21-year old man in connection with the disappearance and death of a missing Appomattox County woman.  Lisa Henderson's body was found yesterday in a wooded area on Plunb Branchy Road in the Concord area. 

Felix Jefferson was arrested this afternoon.  He faces charges of accessory after the fact ofa homicide and accessory after the fact in a felony. 

Henderson, 22, was reported missing on April 6, 2018.  Two days later, her car was found in the 2500 block of Carter Street in Lynchburg. 

Authorities believe foul play was involved.  Henderson's body has been taken to the State Medical Examiner's office for an autopsy.
