Virginia Tech: Edmunds brothers drafted by NFL

Tremaine and Terrell Edmunds will be joining their brother, Trey, in the National Football League.

Virginia Tech head coach Justin Fuente and defensive coordinator Bud Foster accompanied the two Hokies to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Tremaine, an outside linebacker for the Hokies,  was drafted 16th by the Buffalo Bills.  Brother Terrell was drafted 28th by the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Their older brother, Trey, is a running back for the New Orleans Saints.

Tremaine is projected to be the first round draft selection out of Virginia Tech since Kyle Fuller in 2014.

Football runs in the Edmunds family.  Their father, Ferrell, is a 1988 Miami Dolphins draft pick who played seven seasons in the league and is a two-time Pro Bowl tight end.  He also played for the Seattle Seahawks.
