Roanoke: Man pleads guilty to inappropriately touching a minor

A Roanoke County man has pleaded guilty to taking indecent liberties with a child on two separate incidents.

Brian Wade took a plea deal where, in exchange for him pleading guilty, the state dropped a second charge of indecent liberties and a charge of aggressive battery of a child under 13.

A judge sentenced Wade to five years, with four suspended.

At court on Tuesday, May 1, the prosecution said the incident happened in 2016 at his home on Graceland Drive.

He touched a young girl underneath her pants after pulling a blanket over them.

The second incident happened later the same month, involving the same victim, where Wade asked the victim if she wanted to touch him.
