Bomb Threat Downtown Roanoke

UPDATE @ 1:32PM - Police investigated a bomb threat at the SunTrust bank in downtown Roanoke this morning.  The call came in around 10:22 a.m.  

Officers determined that the threat was made by a customer over the phone to an employee at the bank. 

According to officials, bank employees pulled the fire alarm to evacuate he entire building as a precaution.

UPDATE @ 12:51PM - An "all clear" has been given and Roanoke Police say there is no immediate threat. 

ORIGINAL STORY:

A number downtown Roanoke streets blocked and the Sun Trust building has been evacuated while police investigate a reported bomb threat.

Portions of Jefferson Street, Franklin Road, Church Avenue, and Williamson Road will be closed while the threat is investigated, Cline said.
