Utility trailer located with $4,100 worth of tools stolen in Lynchburg

The Lynchburg Police Department is looking for information about a stolen utility trailer from a home in Lynchburg.

Police said officers were called to the dead end of Copley Place off Wards Ferry Road on Monday, May 7 for a reported larceny of a utility trailer.

The victim said their trailer, loaded with multiple construction tools, was stolen sometime over the weekend.

The trailer is described as a black, Holmes, 7x12, single axle open utility trailer with Virginia license plate 798475TR.

Police said the trailer reportedly had multiple tools for installing concrete curbing totaling a loss of $4,100.
