Charlottesville teen pleads guilty to filming 4-year-old in public restroom

June 1, 2018 - A Charlottesville area teen has pleaded guilty to recording a four-year-old boy in a bathroom at a local restaurant and posting the video to social media. 

According to WRIC, the 17-year-old and his lawyer appeared in Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court in Albemarle County.  

ALBEMARLE Co., Va. (WSET) -- A teenager in the Charlottesville-area has pleaded guilty to recording a four-year-old boy in a bathroom at a local restaurant and posting the video to social media.

WRIC reported that the 17-year-old and his lawyer appeared in Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court in Albemarle County.

The teen was ordered under house arrest by a judge.  He is charged with unlawfully recording a child and reproducing video involving a minor. 

The teen has been ordered to remain on house arrest and under 24-hour supervision until his sentencing in July.
