Roanoke Police were out patrolling near Hunt Ave at around 4:00 a.m. Sunday morning when they heard gunshots nearby.
They then saw a car flee the area with a broken back window. Officers tried to stop the vehicle, but the vehicle didn't stop and they pursued the vehicle.
The chase ended shortly and police brought the three occupants of the vehicle in for questioning.
Police were notified that two men with non-life threatening gunshot wounds transported themselves to Carilion Roanoke Memorial hospital at around 4:15 a.m.
The two men were 25-year-old Tychain Davis and 27-year-old Jeffrey Brown.
They and other witnesses said to police that they were at a gathering on the 800 block of Hunt Avenue when a car drove past and shot into the crowd.
The driver of the car, Dalantae Brown, 26, is being charged with eluding police.
