After taking in 17 cats and kittens after the Bedford County Animal Shelter went "Code Red," the Lynchburg Humane Society sent out a plea for "Foster Heroes."
"The face you are seeing, is one out of 17 tiny lives saved while our friends at Bedford County were in a Code Red. This tiny face along with it's mother, siblings and many others here, are in need of fostering. One of the shortest and most rewarding "jobs" you will have, is being a foster parent." The Humane Society said in their call for help via their Facebook Page.
This need is immediate and they have provided the Foster Form for interested parties. They are looking for people to foster the mom and her kittens until the kittens are eight weeks old are are able to be adopted.
