City of Lynchburg: Boil Water Rescission Notice

July 13, 2018 - City of Lynchburg Department of Water Resources customers were notified on July 11, 2018, of a problem with the drinking water and were advised to boil their water.

However, customers on the following streets DO NOT need to boil their water anymore: 

  • Old Graves Mill Road (1300, 1200, 1100, 1000 blocks)
  • Valleydale Drive
  • Tomahawk Drive 
  • Cobblestone Drive
  • Sandbridge Court
  • Bridgeton Court

It is no longer necessary for customers in this area to boil their water.

Customers can direct any questions to the Department of Water Resources by calling 434-455-4250.
