The Lynchburg Police Department has arrested a man after they got a call about a stolen vehicle in the area of Wards Road.
They said they got the call on Thursday, August 2 around 10:20 a.m. about a 2003 Saturn Ion that had been stolen on July 31 out of Campbell County.
The vehicle was found in the Office Max parking lot around 10:50 a.m.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Jason Gowen, 35, of Campbell County and was wanted for domestic assault and battery, larceny, and auto theft.
Police said he was arrested without incident.
During a search of the vehicle, a suspected mobile clandestine lab was located in the trunk.
Due to the incendiary nature of the items located, Office Max was evacuated, and a perimeter was secured, police said.
