The Harrisonburg Police Department said Hareton Rodriguez-Sariol has been taken into custody in Pennsylvania.
12-year-old Angie Carolina Rodriguez Rubio and her grandmother, Elizabeth Rodriquez Rubio, 48, are still missing.
Police need help in locating a girl and her grandmother. Elizabeth Rodriquez Rubio, 48, and Angie Carolina Rodriquez-Rubio. The two were last seen with the abductor, Hareton Jaime Rodriquez-Sariol, on Sunday, August 5, 2018, at approximately 1:30 p.m. near the 2800 block of South Main Street in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
The alleged abductor's vehicle, which they were all believed to be traveling in was involved in a vehicle fire on I-66 in Warren County. The abductor is now believed to be traveling to New York in another vehicle which may be a 2000 tractor-trailer Volvo truck, white, with Virginia tag 21739PZ.
The grandmother was last seen wearing a burgundy blouse shirt and a black skirt. The child was last week wearing a black with flowers blouse shirt, black leggings pants and white sandals. She is described as 5'1" with curly, long brown hair, brown hair and weighs 112 pounds. The grandmother is 5'4" with black hair and brown eyes weighing 140 pounds. Both are Hispanic.
The alleged abductor is described as 5'6" with short black hair, brown eyes, unknown clothing and weighs 180 pounds.
Rodriquez-Sariol has a history of infatuation regarding the grandmother.
