Apparently people in a neighborhood in Toronto Canada decided to get a bit passive aggressive when the city took months to fill a pothole.
This hole was just sitting there, shutting down a bit of their neighborhood when they decided to put it to good use and grow tomatoes.
You're reading that right, the residents in the Summerhill Area planted tomatoes in this whole and if the pictures are any indication, they're coming along quite nicely.
No idea when the city will repair the pot hole, but in the mean time, these pictures indicate that this neighborhood will be enjoying some tomatoes in the near future.
No this isn’t a community garden! Some fed up residents in the Summerhill area planted tomatoes in this sinkhole as they wait for the city to fix it. One woman tells me that the crater has been on Poplar Plains Cres. for months now. @CityNews pic.twitter.com/bXiVMhGdrF— Brandon Rowe (@CityNewsBrandon) August 16, 2018
Nobody can do passive aggressive like a Torontonian can do passive aggressive.😊 https://t.co/QLb4OmN91A— Gracie's Mom (@cmurphy307) August 17, 2018
Even tomatoes in a sinkhole are growing better than mine this year. https://t.co/l3dsYiRtX7— fiona wren (@fionawren) August 17, 2018
