The Amherst county Sheriff's Office have reported that no charges will be filed against the three deputies who were involved in a shooting last month.
After an investigation by the Virginia State Police and Amherst County Commonwealth's Attorney Office no charges will be filed in the shooting Anthony M. Hutchinson.
Hutinson killed his cousin, Alexia Lockett, in Nelson County before fleeing the area. He ran off the road in Amherst County where he shot at three deputies.
"The deputies are now released from administrative duties and we are glad to have them back. We ask that you continue to pray for them and all of our deputies as this incident further illustrates the dangers they encounter daily." A representative said in a press release.
