Indiana State Police report that three children were struck and killed by a pick up truck after it did not slow down to allow the children to board the bus.
The incident occurred on a two-lane road neary Rochester, Indiana which is approximately 100 miles north of Indianapolis.
Three children died at the scene and the fourth was airlifted to the hospital. Their names and ages have not been released.
Police believe that the bus had its arm out at the time of the incident but the truck did not stop. Test will be conducted to determine if the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
