The Town of Bedford Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying two male suspects in a gift card fraud scheme.
Police said the two men altered bar codes on five Samsung cell phones before buying them with gift cards at Walmart in Bedford on November 18, 2018, around 3:00 a.m. They said the gift cards used to buy the phone were previously purchased at a separate location with a stolen debit card.
According to police, the total loss, including the cell phones and gift cards, is $2,800.
