Lynchburg Police Investigate After Man Shot

The Lynchburg Police Department are investigating a possible shooting. 

Officers responded to the area of 14th Street and Monroe Street for a report of a man laying on the ground with a possible gunshot wound around 11:13 Monday evening. 

The man was not there. Police began a canvass of the area before being alert that a man had arrived at Lynchburg General Hospital with a single gunshot wound. He was treated at the hospital and police say the wound appeared non-threatening.
