Roanoke Municipal Building Evacuated Due To Bomb Threat

City of Roanoke officials said the city's municipal building was evacuated Thursday for a 'serious bomb threat' and will reopen for regular business hours Friday morning.

Threats were also made  in Vinton and Chatam as well as elsewhere in the region and around the nation this afternoon. 

At this time, officials ask that you not call 9-1-1 for updates. They will be given when they can.
