Lynchburg Woman Charged With Animal Cruelty; 26 Dogs Removed From Home

The Lynchburg Police Department Animal Control Unit has charged a woman after 26 dogs were seized from her home. 

Animal Control Officers responded to a home in the 300 block of G Street for a welfare check on animals inside on December 18, 2018. 

Katherine Tate, 61, has been charged with five counts of misdemeanor Animal Cruelty.
