The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office reported they attempted to stop a car for speeding this morning around 10:30 a.m. at the 104 mile marker on I-81 in Pulaski County.
The car was going 78 mph in a 60 mph work zone.
The driver refused to stop when the officer activated his emergency lights.
The car then entered Montgomery County on I-81 and the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office asked for help from Virginia state Police.
State Police units were able to stop the car at the 138.7 mile marker.
The driver, 24 year old Dejuane Ramel Wilson, was taken into custody with incident.
Wilson from Wakefield, Virginia, was charged with Felony Elude by the VA State Police and transported to the Roanoke County Jail.
More charges are pending in Pulaski County.
