Two Arrested For Bringing Thousands Of Dollars Worth of Crystal Meth to VA

Two Alabama men are facing multiple charges after Virginia State Police said they brought in thousands of dollars worth of crystal meth to Virginia.

Police said Jonathan Lorenzo Ricks, 22, and Maleek Qualls, 22, both of Tuscumbia, were arrested on January 7.

Ricks is charged with one felony count of distribution of over 100 grams of a Schedule I/II drug, one felony count of distribution of a Schedule I/II drug while in possession of a firearm, and one felony count of importation of over one ounce of a Schedule I/II drug into the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Qualls is charged with one felony count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.
