New warrants show more details about what happened before a gruesome murder near the Radford University campus last week.
Luisa Ines Tudela Harris Cutting is charged with second degree murder after police said she killed Alexa Cannon by stabbing her 30 to 40 times inside their apartment on Clement Street.
The Radford city Police Department got warrants for both Cutting and Cannon's phone and social media accounts, including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
In the warrant, police say it was discovered that Cannon used her phone and social media accounts to talk with others about the problems she was having with Cutting in the days before her death.
Warrants also indicate that Cannon called 911 the morning of January 24, 2019, the day she was found stabbed to death. They also show that other people were calling 911 and, "providing a location for the incident."
