Roanoke Man Charged in Radford Domestic Violence Incident

According to Radford City Police, a Roanoke man is facing multiple charges related to a reported domestic violence incident.

Police responded to a business in the 100 block of East Main Street in Radford on January 31, 2019, to a citizen's report that a domestic assault had occurred. Upon arrival,officers say they found a victim that had a relationship with the accused offender.

Antonio Franklin, 35, allegedly physically assaulted the victim, sexually abused her during the assault, and kept her from leaving the premises or calling for assistance.

Franklin has been charged with aggravated assault, abduction, sexual battery, petit larceny prevent access to emergency service, and destruction of property. He is being held without bond at the New River Valley Regional Jail.
