Martinsville man turns self in after shooting 17-year-old

The Henry County Sheriff's Office said that a suspect has turned himself in after shooting a 17-year-old in Martinsville last month.

Joshua Lane Wisener, 21, of Martinsville, has been charged with:

Malicious wounding RobberyGrand larceny of a firearmUse of a firearm during the commission of a felony Possession of a firearm after having been convicted of a felony According to officials, Wisener shot the juvenile in the parking lot of the BG Express on January 25. They said the male was found behind the store with a gunshot wound to the stomach.The sheriff's office said the shooting happened because of a disagreement involving illegal drugs.The victim was airlifted to the hospital where his injury was treated.Wisener is being held at the Henry County Jail without bond.
