A 17-year-old Nathalie girl died in a three-car crash on Saturday night, February 23, 2019.
State Police say Carleigh Singleton was driving west on Route 40 around midnight when she lost control coming into a curve. She hit the center line and hit a Jeep Grand Cherokee going east, then hit another car.
Police say Singleton died at the scene. She was wearing a seat belt.
The drivers of the other cars were taken to Lynchburg General Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Police say speed was a factor in the crash.
