Roanoke Co. Police: Shooting leaves one person hurt; isolated incident

Roanoke County police say they are now investigating after a shooting that left one man injured.

Officials say the shooting happened around 8:55 P.M., on Sunday, February 24, 2019.

Police say they responded to a disturbance call with a weapon in the 6000 block of Carefree Lane. Upon arrival, they found a man that had been shot.

Police say the shooting is isolated and contained, and that there is no threat to the public.
